Edward Jones has been named No. 6 on the 2023 Companies that Care list, published by Great Place To Work® and PEOPLE magazine. Earning a spot means that Edward Jones has surpassed rigorous benchmarks, establishing itself as one of the best companies to work for in the country.

Edward Jones is a human-centered firm, with a longstanding culture of caring that embraces clients, colleagues and communities. The culture of caring is an important part of why Edward Jones associates say it is a great place to work. The Companies that Care data showed that, as of August 2022, 90% of Edward Jones associates said it is a great place to work — 33% higher than the average U.S. company.

Edward Jones’ culture of caring is rooted in the firm’s purpose: to partner for positive impact, to improve the lives of clients and colleagues, and together better our communities and society.

Great Place To Work® and People magazine highlighted Edward Jones’ community support as a contributor to the high ranking. The firm anticipates giving approximately $200 million between 2020 and the end of 2025 in communities we serve throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The PEOPLE Companies That Care list is based on more than 1.3 million employee survey responses and data from companies representing the experience of more than 7.5 million employees. Of those surveys, 1.1 million came from employees at companies eligible for this year’s list, and these rankings are based on that feedback.
