Note: Different roles require different registrations and licenses but if you are missing a particular license, almost all roles allow you time to earn registrations and licenses while employed.

Edward Jones Connection
Another home office opportunity is the financial advisor in the Edward Jones (EJ) Connection department. These advisors serve smaller clients remotely in partnership with local branch teams, delivering a personalized experience based on client needs and preferences.
Unlike field-based advisors, EJ Connection advisors are salaried home office associates with benefits aligned to other internal roles. They focus on client service without the added responsibilities of running a branch (P&L, leading a team, or working extended hours to build a practice).
The role is available nationwide, supporting hybrid or remote work arrangements.

Associate Financial Advisor
(Required licenses: SIE, Series 7, Series 66, state insurance licenses)
Associate financial advisors hold the same licensing and registrations as our financial advisors. Under the leadership of the financial advisor, associate financial advisors can complete trades, discuss investment solutions with clients and provide comprehensive financial advice.
As an associate financial advisor, you will:
- Provide personalized investment and financial solutions to clients
- Cultivate relationships in your local community to grow the business
- Play an essential role in ensuring the branch team consistently delivers an exceptional client experience
Registered Branch Associate
(Required licenses: Series 7, Series 66, state insurance licenses)
As a registered branch associate, you will relay the recommendation of an Edward Jones financial advisor, including helping clients make investment decisions and place trades at the direction of your financial advisor.
As a registered branch associate, you will:
- Build meaningful connections and long-lasting relationships with clients
- Manage multiple projects in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment
- Identify, analyze and resolve a wide variety of issues related to personalized investment solutions, with the guidance of your financial advisor
- Thrive in a continuous learning environment, incorporating feedback and adapting to changes

Put your credentials to work in a variety of impactful home office roles, such as:
- Wealth Management Advice & Solutions (WMAS): Serve high-net-worth clients through Edward Jones Generations™, our most expansive and tailored solution.
- Practice Management: Hire, train, support and develop the branch team in delivering holistic financial advice to our clients.
- Compliance: Foster a culture of compliance anchored in serving our clients’ best interests.
- Operations: Support the lifecycle of client transactions while driving operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Internal Audit: Partner across divisions to deliver insights, reduce risk, and improve systems and processes.
- Licensed roles span transitional financial advisors, auditors, concierge specialists, and compliance officers.
- Financial advisor positions require Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65).
- Common credentials for home office roles include Series 99, SIE, CIA, CPA, and CFP® especially in WMAS.
- FPQP™, AAMS®, and CAPM® are valued in Generations and other high-net-worth-focused roles.
