Making Investments to Help Our Financial Advisors Succeed

Read the Transcript.

If you’re an experienced financial advisor, you already know this: your clients’ financial lives have never been more complex. They’re asking for more — more comprehensive planning, more integrated advice, more support for their businesses and their employees, more peace of mind about risks they didn’t even know they faced. You want to rise to meet them.

The question is: Does your firm rise with you?

At Edward Jones, our answer is a clear yes, and we’re putting real investment behind it. We’re making deliberate choices every year to build infrastructure, technology and collaborations that help our financial advisors do more for their clients and build practices with purpose.

There are a few recent investments that I’m excited about.

Protecting Clients While Improving Advisor Capacity

Edward Jones is now offering Carefull to all U.S. clients, helping families gain early awareness of potential fraud or scams with real-time alerts. It’s a great example of how technology can complement the work of our financial advisors and client support team members.

Carefull operates quietly in the background to monitor accounts for warning signs such as unusual transactions, missed or late payments and potential fraud. Offered to all U.S. Edward Jones clients at no cost, the tool allows clients to choose to send selected alerts or information to trusted loved ones, creating shared awareness without transferring control.

Day-to-day interactions with clients will still play an important role in identifying early signs of vulnerability, but technology like this can strengthen monitoring and give financial advisors more time to dedicate to client relationships.

Innovation that Reaches our Advisors, Not Just Our Roadmap

Through Edward Jones Ventures*, our strategic venture capital arm, we’re connecting our financial advisors to modern, scalable products and services that genuinely move the needle.

In its second year, Edward Jones Ventures is investing strategically in emerging technologies, incubating new businesses and piloting solutions that enhance client service and practice team efficiency. I’m excited to see that our financial advisors are accessing innovations at scale: more than 70% of our U.S. financial advisors have engaged with the 15 companies in our portfolio through pilots and other activities.

Expanded Workplace Retirement Solutions for Business Owners and Their Employees

We’ve significantly expanded our workplace retirement plan capabilities, adding new product partners and solutions designed to help business owners and their employees improve long-term financial fulfillment.

Edward Jones offers a high-quality and highly selective suite of retirement plan solutions backed by a rigorous due diligence process supporting businesses – from start up through complex, large plan needs – and their employees. The expanded lineup – which now includes J.P. Morgan Asset Management and later this year, T. Rowe Price – reinforces the firm’s commitment to client choice. Our retirement plan product shelf now includes eleven partners, giving financial advisors choices when serving business owner clients.

Additionally, we’ve expanded our support for financial advisors including dedicated workplace retirement plan consultants, team-based coverage for complex businesses and acumen building.

The Enterprise Behind Every Financial Advisor

None of this happens in a vacuum. At Edward Jones, every financial advisor is backed by an entire enterprise focused on helping them succeed. Our clients receive the personal service and presence of a local Edward Jones advisor, backed by the strength, scale and fiduciary discipline of a Fortune 500 firm. Very few firms in this space deliver both.

This year, Edward Jones ranked No. 1 for advised investor satisfaction in J.D. Power 2026 U.S. Investor Satisfaction Study. That recognition reflects what becomes possible when we invest in our financial advisors’ ability to serve clients well.

This is a remarkable time to be a financial advisor, and I’m very proud of the investments we’re making to help our advisors rise to meet the moment.

If you’re ready to build your practice at a firm that’s building around you, I’d encourage you to explore what Edward Jones has to offer.
