I know plenty of financial advisors at Edward Jones who actively work toward sharpening their competitive edge—and dedicate time to charitable and community activities.
But to do this you need time to meet people outside of your existing network. When you’re out in the community, you can create connections and learn things you can’t from behind the desk or in a LinkedIn feed.
